About Angela

Angela Drinkwater is a seasoned and well-respected national media relations professional who has worked in the public relations field for over 25 years. Although her experience spans the spectrum on publicity, Angela started her career at one of the largest public relations firms in the world, Edelman Public Relations Worldwide in New York, in Consumer Technology.   She continues to enjoy a great rapport with a variety of local and national print, broadcast, online and social media outlets throughout the country, in fields from consumer to medical to tech to public affairs to b-to-b. Angela has spent most of her career as a National Media Relations Specialist for most major PR firms in the US (most notably as one of three people in Edelman Public Relations’ National Media Relations Department). She has worked on behalf of such high-profile accounts as: Smucker's, Pillsbury, Folgers, Hungry Jack, Hill's Science Diet, Ronzoni, Little Debbie, Bayer Advanced, Microsoft, Novartis, Merck, Bausch & Lomb,  Whitehall-Robins Healthcare, Airborne, Futuro, The ALS Association, Snapple, Fujifilm USA, Kodak, HBO, Pfizer, Music Together, V-Tech, Melissa & Doug Toys, Laura Ashley, Weight Watchers, and a New York area hospital. She has routinely garnered consumer and b to b placements in everything from national morning shows to local print and broadcast media outlets throughout the country (including Web sites, blogs and other social media outlets and satellite media tours). Angela graduated with honors and a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Communications/Public Relations from Long Island University's C. W. Post Campus.  Angela lives on Long Island with her husband and very talented twin sons.
